Last year, I explained a new addition to my ELL Newcomer instructional strategies – creating thematic scrambled “expanding sentence” sheets (see How I’m Adding A Twist To The Sentence Expansion Strategy In My ELL Newcomers Class).
These are what their title suggests – groups of four-or-five collections of three sentences that “expand” using the words and theme that we’re studying that week.
This document contains all of the ones that I (and peer tutors) personally created (including answer sheets).

The ones created by humans are clearly better, but ChatGPT’s are certainly usable, and saves a lot of time!
