About Khanmigo
Khanmigo is an innovative AI tool designed to act as a teaching assistant for educators and a study buddy for students. This resource provides personalized, real-time learning support and helps streamline classroom activities. New Hampshire is leading the way in education technology as the first state to adopt this platform on a statewide level.
Key Benefits of Khanmigo:
For Students: Enhances critical thinking and problem-solving with guided prompts, supports homework and essay writing, and provides a customized learning experience across various subjects, in multiple languages.
For Educators: Simplifies workflow, identifies student struggles, synthesizes data, assists with lesson planning, and ensures student safety with automated alerts for inappropriate interactions.
Privacy and Security
Khanmigo is committed to protecting student data. A comprehensive Student Data Privacy Agreement has been executed for the State of New Hampshire to safeguard user information. Importantly, content submitted by teachers and students is not used to train the AI’s underlying models.

This $2.3 million initiative, funded by federal COVID-relief funds, is available through July 31, 2025. It includes extensive professional development for educators to maximize the benefits of Khanmigo in the classroom.
