AI Picture Roulette from Cool English is a variation of a game I’ve played for years in class. In my version, students are in small groups with whiteboards and have to write a description of pictures I show them. I give them points based on their accuracy and fluency. In Picture Roulette, a student can play a virtual roulette wheel of pictures, and then they have to describe the one that’s chosen. You can create your own picture roulette wheel here, also. Polidict is a new online vocabulary program.

TheoGuesser could be fun game to play in class when you are teaching about “home” or teaching directions.  You have to “guess” where certain items or locations are in a house.

Lyric Fluent helps Spanish speakers learn English (or English speakers learn Spanish) through interactive music videos. I’m adding it to The Best Music Websites For Learning English.

In California, Rebuilding Bilingual Education in Schools after an 18-year ban is from The 74.
