Here are this week’s choices:
Wick Editor “is a free, open-source tool for creating games, animations, and everything in-between!” I’m adding it to The Best Ways For Students To Create Online Animations. Here’s a video from Richard Byrne about it:
2X-L is a funky oral choose your own adventure site. I’m adding it to The Best Places To Read & Write “Choose Your Own Adventure” Stories.
CardBuddy is like a Padlet specifically for writing. Unfortunately, it’s only available as an app, and not for use on a PC. I’m adding it to The Best Online Virtual “Corkboards” (or “Bulletin Boards”).
Downpour looks like a pretty cool way to create games on your phone. I’m adding it to The Best Websites For Creating Online Learning Games.
I’m adding this tweet to MICROSOFT IS SHUTTING “FLIP” DOWN – HERE ARE ALTERNATIVES:
Screencastify’s video assignment tool, Submit, is free for education users through May 2025 (was $49/yr per teacher). The company will be adding features to make it more like Flipgrid, including student-to-student interactions and student video editing.https://t.co/KG23Trv10P pic.twitter.com/8YYdk9R4ND
