More Research Offers Caution About AI Adoption

 

Research: Using AI at Work Makes Us Lonelier and Less Healthy is a new article in The Harvard Business Review.

It offers further caution that we teachers should consider as we think about using AI in our classrooms.  Obviously, the study is about AI in the workplace, but I wouldn’t be surprised if its findings can also be applicable in schools.

I think there are useful ways to use AI in teaching, especially when working with English Language Learners.  But I also think it’s a pretty small part (see WHAT I THINK ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE WILL DO – & WHAT IT WON’T DO – IN K-12 EDUCATION).
