A beloved bald eagle who gained popularity after incubating a rock is mourned after dying from head trauma sustained during violent storms in Missouri last week. Murphy, a male, bald eagle who surpassed the average life span of 25 years, died at the World Bird Sanctuary in Valley Park, Missouri.
