Napkin is a free AI tool that seems to do a good job at creating visualizations.
Once you sign-in, you’re given a choice of either asking AI to generate text on a topic, or to paste your own text into it.
Unfortunately, I was not able to get it to allow me to paste my text into it – I assume it’s just a glitch because it’s new, and that they’ll fix it shortly.
Instead, I asked it to list the best strategies for teaching English Language Learners. The AI generated a decent text list, which you can see here.
Then, you click on an icon that generates a variety of infographics/visualizations of the text, and pick the ones you want to use (like the image at the top of this blog post). You’re also given the option of adding photos.
It could come in handy for presentations and blog posts.
