As regular readers know, each year I have my students complete anonymous class evaluations at various times during the year, and share their answers here and with administrators.

Here’s a copy of the IB Theory of Knowledge class evaluation form that I used this year.
The results were very positive (except for, as usual, I need to improve how I organize my Google Classroom – I swear I’ll do better next year!).
This year, though, I added a new question, which you can see in the image at the top of this post.
My class is organized almost entirely in small group work and presentations, with very minimal teaching from the front of the class. Even though students generally seems to love the class, occasionally I’ll hear comments from students about wanting it to be like their other classes.
So, this year, I added a question to see how students felt specifically about the class structure.

I was gratified by the results.
Students appear to continue to really like the class, and the assessment of their work by IB Examiners are typically decent.
So, I guess I’ll continue doing what I do (with maybe more attention to my Google Classroom!).
