Researchers at AIIMS, Delhi have developed a simple blood test using droplet digital PCR (ddPCR) to track the effectiveness of cervical cancer treatment. Published in Scientific Reports, the study shows that detecting cell-free HPV DNA in blood can serve as a reliable marker to monitor therapy response in cervical cancer patients, both before and after treatment.
